Campaign: Celebrate Family as an Everyday Form of Therapy
Join our Celebrating Family as an Everyday Form of Therapy campaign, designed to bring together families, parents, children, and teachers in celebrating and integrating culturally relevant instruction and curriculums that honor home cultures and practices. This initiative offers a series of free-to-low-cost workshops across Montreal, aimed at providing strategies to incorporate diverse cultural perspectives in both educational settings and at home.
By participating in these workshops, parents and teachers can collaboratively create an environment that fosters self-awareness and deepens self-knowledge. This approach enhances the educational journey and strengthens familial bonds as children connect more profoundly with their heritage, identities, and lived experiences.
Embrace this opportunity to transform learning environments into spaces where culture and education intersect, fostering a meaningful and inclusive educational journey for our children. Be sure to join us at FamiFête, hosted in collaboration with the Caribbean Cultural Festivities Association and Place Vertu mall. This celebration of family, culture, and education takes place on August 17th from 12pm to 6pm. At the event, you can sign up for our workshops and enjoy live demonstrations showcasing practical applications of culturally relevant teaching.
