Duration: June to August 2025 (7 weeks)

Carifiesta Youth Ambassadors is a Montreal-based summer internship designed to empower youth to lead and celebrate Caribbean culture in their communities. Through events, storytelling, and hands-on projects, this program gives young people the chance to connect with their heritage while building leadership and event experience.

We are now accepting applications from youth aged 16–18 living in the Montreal area. Selected interns will have the opportunity to:

• Support cultural storytelling events, youth-led initiatives, and community celebrations
• Assist with planning and running summer events like fairs, showcases, and fundays
• Work alongside Caribbean community leaders and gain mentorship in event planning and cultural programming
• Lead or assist with a group project designed to promote Caribbean culture in creative and engaging ways

While the program is open to all, we strongly encourage applications from youth connected to the Caribbean diaspora, especially those passionate about:

• Cultural heritage and festivals
• Storytelling and creative expression
• Community service and leadership
• Youth engagement and empowerment

Each participant will receive a $225 stipend and community service hours upon successful completion of the program.
